This policy explains what personal data Neon & Concrete collects when you visit neonandconcrete.com, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The controller is the operator of Neon & Concrete. You can reach us at mail@neonandconcrete.com or through the contact page.
What we collect and why
Server log data
When you load a page, our hosting provider automatically records technical information sent by your browser, typically your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We process this under our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
Messages you send us
If you use the contact form or email us, we process your name, email address and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract). We keep correspondence while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless a legal retention duty applies. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Security
This site runs the security plugin Wordfence, which inspects incoming requests and may log IP addresses and request details linked to suspicious activity. Wordfence is provided by Defiant, Inc. in the USA, and security data may be exchanged with its threat-defense service. We process this under our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its visitors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
Our Cookie Policy describes which cookies this site can set and how to control them. We don’t run advertising or analytics cookies.
Embedded content and external links
Articles may embed YouTube videos or link to other websites. An embed behaves as if you had visited that site: the provider may collect data, set cookies and track your interaction. YouTube is operated by Google, whose privacy policy applies. Links to YouTube and other sites transfer no data until you click them.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. Data is handled on our behalf only by providers needed to run the site, mainly our hosting and email provider. Where a provider processes personal data on our instructions, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR applies. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is safeguarded by an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
- Access to your personal data (Art. 15)
- Correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3))
To use these rights, write to us at the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you live or work.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
